Why Men Leave Relationships
For a woman who is fighting to keep her relationship together, you must read this article and learn why men leave relationships. Human beings complicate matters and wrongly based conventions we learn which our society teach us, take on a completely false importance.
There is a popular impression that “Men use love to get sex and women use sex to get love”, but in reality things don’t work out that way. More than that, there is absolutely no reason why to justify any truth in the saying; all it does is perpetuate the false idea that men want and need sex more than women and men need nothing more than sex to be happy.
It is completely false. Most women and men have similar sex drives. History has always encouraged men to go after the women, and women to behave themselves. Men have been taught to pursue their desires where as women must put their desires on hold.
It is hardly surprising that keeping a relationship going successfully turns out to be an enormous challenge. What can you expect when half the population feels that they don’t have to control their sexual urges and the other half feels that they are not allowed to admit that they have such urges.
Anyone who is really looking for a stable and amorous relationship has to relearn the ground rules they originally learnt and were told they had to follow. The reality is that both men and women will want to get out of an unfulfilled relationship, and all the most uninteresting people still hope to be fulfilled in many ways, sexually and otherwise.
For a loving and long term relationship there has to be connections between the two of you, which are physical, spiritual, and emotional. Everybody needs to feel that are they accepted, understood, desired, and loved by their partners.
As soon as one or more of these needs is overlooked, the relationship will start to fall apart. Women normally want to prevent their men from leaving their relationship, or at least know why their men leave so they can take preventative action in time. The lesson for the women is simply to connect with their man on all these levels and they and their men will be happy, fulfilled and committed to the relationship over the long term.
